Privacy Policy
For jsuse.com and lapintool.com · Last updated: October 6, 2026
This policy explains how the JSUSE and LapinTool websites handle account information, including information received when you use Google Sign-In.
Information we receive
When you sign in with Google, Google provides a stable account identifier, your email address, your display name, and whether Google has verified the email address. We use the verification result to decide whether the address can be used for sign-in. We do not retain Google's access token after completing sign-in.
For a Google-created account, the email address is used as the account username and contact email. If you link Google to an existing account, we store the Google account identifier and use the email or display name to fill account fields only when those fields are empty. You can change your profile information in account settings.
How we use information
- To create and authenticate your account, prevent unauthorized account linking, and keep you signed in.
- To associate a Google identity with the JSUSE account you choose, or to create a separate account when you request one.
- To operate account settings and provide the software and services made available through these websites.
We do not sell Google account information or use it for advertising. We use it for sign-in and account administration described in this policy.
Storage and security
Account records are stored in the service's database. Account passwords are stored as password hashes, not as plain text. Short-lived sign-in state is used to complete the Google authorization flow and expires automatically. The websites may use essential cookies and browser storage for authentication and user preferences.
We apply access controls and reasonable safeguards to protect account information. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Sharing and service providers
Google handles the authentication step under Google's Privacy Policy. We may rely on infrastructure providers to host and deliver the websites and database. We do not sell account information. We disclose information only as needed to operate the service, protect users, comply with law, or respond to valid legal requests.
Retention and your choices
We keep account information while the account is active or as needed to provide the service and protect its security. You can unlink Google from account settings after setting a local password. To request deletion of an account and its associated data, contact the user support email shown on the Google sign-in consent screen. Some records may be retained where required by law or needed to resolve security and abuse issues.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the service or its data practices change. The latest version will be published on this page. For privacy questions or data requests, use the user support email shown on the Google sign-in consent screen.
